Picture overload! Summer with the Allen's.

Summer has come and gone. I can't believe the school year is about to start. I am so glad that Easton is walking and he and Kenzie are a little more independent. Last year was crazy with a baby on each hip, taking Maddy to and from pre-school and dance. I couldn't just drop her off at pre-school. I had to walk her all the way to her class. Dance was only 45 minutes and there is an observation room so we usually stayed and Kenzie & Easton tore up the place. Why do I put myself through this torture? Because Madison absolutely loves dance and asks to go, her cousin Kate is in the same class, and if I didn't torture myself there wouldn't be anything to complain about!

Summer has been pretty low key for us. The only trip we took was to Denver, Colorado. Boone's brother Scott graduated from the same dental school that Boone went to, so we went for the graduation so that Boone could hood him.

Congrats!

Easton, Boone, Scott, & Jace. Easton and Jace were born only two weeks apart.

While we were in Denver we took the kids to the Denver Zoo and they loved it. We also ate at many of our favorite places in Denver. After leaving Denver we went to Breckenridge, Colorado and stayed in a condo with Boone's family for a week. This was the highlight of the trip. The kids were with there cousins 24/7 and they went swimming every day. There was also a fun playground they enjoyed. The guys were able to go golfing a couple of times while we were there and the girls got to have a shopping day. I don't have any pictures of the shopping, but trust me, it was successful!!

It was a fun trip. Other than some really fun family parties, the rest of our summer has been pretty uneventful. Boone has been working as usual and the kids and I have spent our days outside. They love playing on their swing set and running through the sprinklers. Our kids keep us busy and we are blessed to have them.

Where to start?

We tried blogging before and we slacked off big time, but we are giving it another shot. This blog is about our family and what we are up to. Of course, I will be the one posting our adventures, because we all know Boone will have nothing to do with it! :) He will be reading it along with the rest of you. Happy Blogging!
